Thursday night (02/08/24) I dropped my 09 BMW 328i off for an oil change and to be looked over since I had recently just bought the vehicle. Friday night (02/09/24) I pick the BMW up around 9:30 since I work the same hours their open and had to wait for my bf to take me. There is now a crack in my windshield. I left them a message Sunday night (02/11/24) since they aren't open the weekends and I have video of the BMW Thursday before I dropped it off without the crack plus I'd be at work Monday morning. Brian, I think his name is, called me at 8:10 ish and asked me to send him the videos I had before and after. I sent him the videos at 8:23 am on Monday. It is now Wednesday and I haven't gotten a single call or text back.

    UPDATE

Took the BMW to some other dealerships for second opinion where each personally showed me the "issues" Forest Hill quoted me and explained that only 1 of the things they quoted were correct while the others would've cost me over $2,000 when in reality they weren't needed.

After purchasing a CPO 3 Series earlier in the year, I was referred to Forest Hill Auto by friends and co-workers. I could not be happier with their service. They were super responsive to my concerns and checked the car from top to bottom. Thankfully Bryan found that two of my wheels were bent and scheduled a follow up service to have the wheels repaired.

This shop is top notch and will be my go to shop for anything related to the BMW.

Took my M3 up to Brian, mostly to resolve a stalling issue after an auto-to-manual swap, but also to install a new VANOS unit, install a driveshaft and differential, as well as a couple of other odds and ends on this 20 year old car.I can echo many of the sentiments here about the shop and specifically Brian. First, the shop just looks organized and clean. It is always nice to walk into a shop and feel like you could eat off the floor. Brian is just a heck of a nice guy and really wants to help you solve a car's issues. He does so in an honest, fair, and conscientious way. He explained how he thought we should proceed and called me several times through the job to update me on how things were going. He tackled each problem in a systematic and cost-effective way, and really got this old car running the way it should be. His pricesIt really is a thrill to drive and I think he enjoyed working on it as much as I now enjoyed driving it again. He is an enthusiast for these cars and it shows.

I need to say also, that I have always had great service from these guys, their honsty as well as their expertise is why i go there. I only wish they were closer to where I live, but to me, they are worth the travel. I mostly have dealt with Jan, but know that Brain is as every bit worth his weight in gold. I can only good things about "Forest Hill Auto"

Once again Brian, his wife Kelley, and his team does not disappoint! I have been taking my car here for the past few years...not only are they professional, kind, but also reasonably priced. They continue to provide excellent work, are trustworthy, and are also good honest people! I would highly recommend them to anyone who drives a BMW!

What can I say? These two guys, Jan and Brian, are the best mechanics around this area. I have driven a BMW for years and they have always given me outstanding service. As others have stated, their work ethic is impeccable and their services prices are extremely reasonable.

I recommend this place they replaced the timing chain and tensioner on my 2001 740 IL. The car sat for 2 months and no one wanted to work on the car. Other gave ridiculous quotes and didn’t want to do the work. The took care of the work at a great rate. No issues

I bought a 2000 740iL recently and while the car was in great shape the water pump blew went bad a month later. Forest Hill was open on Saturday (The pump went bad Friday evening) and they have their own tow truck and picked it up that day. The car was repaired at 1/2 what the dealer qouted me.

A month later lights came on and the speedometer stopped working. Took the car back and it was determined the ABS module went bad. While the repair was not cheap (1k) I had every confidence this price was more than fair and properly diagnosed..

If you've got a BMW, or any other make for that matter, you can't go wrong using Forest Hills. They are truly one of the few repair shops I have dealt with in 25 years that I have full confidence in both fair pricing and quality work.

    Brian is a true pro.

Forest Hill is that rare shop with brand-certified mechanics who do work at a reasonable rate plus genuine customer service as well. They're old school business model which is by doing fair work they will have repeat customers. Yes, if your willing to drive there are couple of other knowledgeable private BMW specialists near Philly. But beware some of the others may try to sell you an engine rather then repair yours!

Not so w/ F.H.A., they only replace something if it can't be fixed. Bryan and Jan rebuilt our VANOS (variable valve timing) and rear SLS air suspension, both issues that would leave lesser mechanics running for a German translator and microfiche diagrams! We won't bother with other shops while living in PA. They're the last of a fading breed, honest expert repairs.

Brian and the crew are top notch, customer focused BMW repair technicians. It is always a pleasant experience dealing with them. They are fair, helpful, and reasonably priced. If your car doesn't need something, they won't recommend it. If it does, they give you the best option to get it done right.

    Jim
