  • Excellent quality work and very thorough. When they find something and recommend replacement or repair, they explain why they feel it needs to be replaced. The repairs definitely cost less than a dealership and they use OEM parts.

From the initial phone call to paying the bill, Jim was fantastic to work with. Just needed an oil change but they made it very easy. Received texts prior to the day of the scheduled service to confirm and then another to remind me of the service. Very friendly, competent and clean shop. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to have their BMW serviced locally and not in Rockville or Baltimore.

I brought my vehicle to Premier for a pre-purchase inspection. The front office guys were great to deal with and helpful and the tech who inspected the car was great. He brought me back to the car while it was on the lift so I could get a look at it from underneath and answered any and all questions I had about it. The car passed with flying colors and made the 500 mile trip home without issue. Was happy about the price for the PPI as well, had been quoted as much as 2.5x the price (185 if I remember correctly) but would not have chosen another shop after my experience. The only issue they did find was fairly inconsequential and they gave me a quote for what it would cost to correct, which seemed very reasonable to me, but did not push at all to have it done at that time, as they knew I was from out of town and was driving home that day. Great guys!

AC needed a shot during hot weather, and they handled it swiftly and very reasonable. This later led to changing my oil and changing engine filter which was needed and they found it. Happy with customer service, pricing and about to have my tires aligned . They have a happy customer and I have a happy X5.

I needed replacement Xenon headlight assemblies for my '99 528 but none could be found. The guys at Premier Autowerks were able to use an aftermarket solution that with a couple of tweaks, works great. Premier is quick, professional and reasonably priced. Thanks guys!

Most expensive oil change for me @ $175

Diagnostic would have been $115 to turn off check engine light

We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your service, especially since we agreed to match the price you gave us that another establishment had given you and we agreed to get you in that day. The BMW diesel oil service in not the same as a standard oil change and there are extra associated costs with it including fluids, filters etc so the information your providing is misleading. Furthermore, as we explained to you the Check engine light is not an indication of maintenance needed, but a "engine malfunction" warning and needs to be properly diagnosed. This takes time and of course comes at an additional cost. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us by phone, email or in person.

Premier Autowerks is such a refreshing change from the local auto shops in Frederick. Chris and Dan offer a level of service that would he coveted in a major city, and it's such a lucky break that they decided to open up a shop here in Frederick. This business is in a class of its own here.

Between them they have 30+ years of experience, and it shows. I purchased a used BMW E46 M3 and took it in for a full inspection. For anyone not familiar with these cars, they have a few quirks specific to this production line (Rear Subframe, RTABs, Cooling System etc) and I wanted to be sure that those areas were specifically addressed. Well it turns out that both Chris and Dan had previously worked at BMW Rockville and were both previous owners and handily familiar with the E46 series. They basically finished my sentence when I went to explain those quirks.

Within 45 minutes they had the full inspection completed. They pulled me out to the garage to run through point by point and show me exactly what they found, what it looked like, and offered their professional advice on what to do about it. Honestly, it's so refreshing to find a shop that is just EFFECTIVE. They were straight to the point and very thorough in answering my many questions about both current issues and future options for preventative maintenance. I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to do so for this business because they absolutely deserve the acclaim. This is the shop I've been looking for.

Premier Autowerks took care of my 2009 BMW 135i regarding various oil leaks at differing gaskets. They handled the repair quickly and efficiently, and at less cost than either the BMW dealer or a "fancy" repair shop in Columbia. They did not overcharge on parts, something that I felt the fancy shop in Columbia was doing. Both Chris and Dan were great to work with; I will be returning the next time my 135 needs work.

Premier Autowerks' prices are very competitive compared to the dealership and they use all genuine BMW parts. The quality of their work is on the same level as the dealership. Their office and shop are very clean and organized. I didn't have to talk to anyone else except the guys working on my vehicle. Work was completed on time and I didn't get any surprises on my bill. I'm happy that I don't have to go to the dealership for the BMW quality service. Great shop with great people.
