  • Don McLachlan

    Owner

    Don entered the automotive industry early on in life when he began working in his father's GM dealership from the age of six. Getting his Red Seal in 1980, since then Don has continued to be involved in every step of the automotive process from sales to service. Don's knowledge has grown through the years and strengthened his business including his extensive knowledge of the European vehicles.

    We had an amazing experience here! We had some issues with our BMW just outside Cranbrook and had our car towed here as Trail was the closest place to service BMWs. We had nothing but excellent service. I called just before close and they told me just to leave it after hours and they would look at the next day. Despite a full day the owner came in and looked at it before they opened. By 8:00 the next morning he gave us a call and discussed the problem and had it out by that afternoon! Super knowledgeable about BMWs and educated us on proper maintenance for our car. He texted the next day to make sure it ran okay and even went as far as to text us a recommendation for a garage in Vancouver as we were moving to the city! Everyone in the office was super friendly! Would 100% recommend!

    Not to much help after sale. Should work with customer instead of letting them dry. Bought a car in January and had to move, no help to re-buy or sell. It’s called being honest and helpful. Very disappointing.
